iTunes question:
#1
Can I install iTunes on an external HD with music files and operate from external? I'm going to have to take stuff off my computer to get all my music in iTunes to install on my iTouch.

also what does it mean at the bottom of the iTunes download page:

xxxxxsongs 9.1 days 20 GIG what is the "days" meaning???

"Days" simply means that if you were to listen to your entire Library (no repeats), you would have that amount of music, etc. to use without a single repeat. That statistic (for the overall library anyways) is more for grins...but is very useful for customizing playlists and/or iPods (Shuffles, etc.) for time-based events (i.e. workouts, etc.).....if you really want to put that much effort into it.

For your situation, what it sounds like is to leave your iTunes application installed normally on your Mac/Windows machine...and simply move your iTunes Library over to an External HD and just keep it housed there - that way you will save a large amount of space on your computer's internal hard drive.

So yes...you can do this.
