I'm not sure what happened but we bought a Prius yesterday.

I went to the store for 2% milk and came back with whole milk.

The Scion we wanted was $21k, the Prius we bought was $24.4K. Scion's
aren't as cheap as they used to be.

Congratulations, you will love the Prius. I have a black 2007 and so far it has been a great car. White was my other choice. My upgrade was the blue tooth and stereo also, which is about all I needed. I love the integrated bluetooth, several of my friends that don't have it on their Prius, say it is the one thing they wish they had.

As Paul says, don't get distracted by the hypermiling and paying too much attention to the displays. This is more of a problem the first few times you drive the car. Take it out during low traffic times to get a feel for this and be careful. Don't experiment during peak traffic, or you will get run over and will be hated.

Also remember that pedestrians and cyclists cannot hear you, especially at low speeds, so you need to watch out for them. I roll the window down and turn radio up, rather than scare them by blowing the horn.
