Just purchased a microphone on ebay "buy it now" and instantly received 9% cashback in my paypal account immediately after paying. Sweet!
Cash back was just at 8% last week, up to 9% right now for me anyway. This is my first experience with live cashback on ebay, and I must admit--it's pretty slick!

I can set up fake auction and "sell" you a $5000 iBook. @9% cash back that is $450, we split that, rinse and repeat. after all eBay and PayPal fees, we still have some $$$ left.

Are you sure? I bought a Nikon lens last year and I got $255 back on a $1700 purchase. Is that new? Does that apply to all cashback purchases or just through eBay?

Applies to ebay, AFAIK. Don't know about the others.

People were scamming like that months ago when the cashback was crazy @ 30%
It got out of hand quick and is part of the reason the cashback amount is much lower now.
