The 20D just dropped $30 in price at Costco to $1199. While it isn't the absolute lowest rock bottom price you do get the added value of the 100% satisfaction guarantee from Costco that beats the heck out of any extended warranty.

I guess it will be another six months before Costco has the S3...

When the S2 was introduced it was on the Costco website about 6-7 weeks after it reached other retail channels in mass. It wasn't a very competitive price at first.
