Creating Animated GIFS on Mac...

What good programs are there for this? It seems there's a lot more for the PC in this area.

Specifically, I'm looking for a program that will take a video clip and turn it into an animated GIF sequence capable of being posted on a message board for auto play. IMO, this still has more impact than an embedded Youtube video the user has to click.

I think Graphic Converter can do it.

You can export a movie as individual images from Quicktime, but not as a single animated GIF.

Gifbuilder ... not updated in aeons.

edit: would probably have to be used in conjuction with Quicktime player, exporting the movie as a series of image files first.

Flash can do some nice things. You can also take screen captures of the video and use Photoshop to build the GIF.
