i'm going to greece/is macbook 110/220v?
#1
Will be in Greece next week.

We don't have a cell phone that works in Europe.

So was thinking of taking daughter's macbook to access the web as we travel so we can make various arrangements.

is the macbook 110v and/or 220v?

if it can automatically handle both currents, i imagine i simply need a plug adaptor and not a transformer?

any and all thoughts would be appreciated

be well

rob

ps-is the same true for the various ipods & shuffles we have?

It is both- auto switching. All you will need is a plug adapter to fit their outlets.

Same for the ipods if you are using an Apple external charger (or other external switchable power supply), not sure on the shuffle personally. You can still charge the iPods through the MacBook USB.

yeah. I had my MBP in Budapest last fall. they are 220/50. power supply handled it fine. Just used a 2 pin adapter that that part of europe used for A/C power. One of my AA battery chargers is 110/220 50/60 sO I took that. My Canon EOS camera battery chargers are also 110/220 50/60. Lots of newer stuff is.

Neither.

It needs 11-15 VDC.
