and it's free

Beware - it will show any dead pixels on your LCD - R.I.P. Sad

I ran LCD Scrubber (limited time version) then JScreenFix all night. When I invoke the "spectrum" screen saver the line appears in during some of the colors, not all, which is about what I saw last night.

Then this morning I ran LCD test. Yes, a few dead or stuck pixels here or there, but nothing resembling a line at the top.

Hmm...I think I've got it too!:

Maybe I should make a Genius appointment for my ACD. Wink

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with your ACD.

Okay, okay...I know I've opened myself up to some gentle ribbing via this thread. But please allow me to defend myself and my paranoia one more time by restating that the line appears in the same place while screen savers are running. It's especially easy to see while running the "spectrum" screen saver, during which the line is seen in some but not all of the cycling colors.

So would that point the finger at image persistence?
