3 days off ! I have plans...

We've been working 6 days a week (all salaried personnel) since January. Word went round that you 'don't need to come in' this Saturday. Today was a holiday.

I have spent today doing... nothing much. Slept in. Played with the Chihuahaus. Read two Terry Pratchett Discword novels. (I'm through pretty much everything my library has). Ripped some music for the iPod.

Yeah, did a bit of laundry, cleaned up a bit. Ran a network cable for the teenager's XBox. Fiddled with the lawn tractor. Put away some tools. Cleaned up the workshop. A little.

Tomorrow I plan on doing very little as well. Maybe start working on the garden. It's been so awfully nice to be able to just... sit, relax, pet the dogs. Ignore the kids.. I feel a bit guilty, though. My wife's at work.

Has your wife been working six days a week since January? If so, then by all means you should feel guilty! If not, then enjoy the time off, guilt free. I mean it's not like you did nothing.
