Does it smell weird or look weird? If yes, toss it. If it looks ok, eat it. You could also just stick it in a sealed container and freeze it and use it whenever you need it.

Most stuff is 3 days, 3 weeks, or 3 months. I would toss it on day 4.

I'm kind of the female version of Paul F., but there's no way I'd eat that chicken after all this time, refrigerated or not. I wouldn't even give it to Louie.

4/11... Of what year?
![]() For my tastes, for poultry, two weeks is pushing it.... unless it was very fresh, got cooked almost immediately, and has been stored in a cold cold fridge. Poultry gets a certain smell that I really don't like when it's, well.. not quite "rotten", but "past its prime".

I had it last night for dinner. Smelled fine, I know what you mean my the funky poultry smell.
So far .......... certainly better then some of the crap I ate in Vegas last week from "reputable" places. We tossed the carcass last night. But strangely, my system has changed to XP ........... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I have noticed chicken or turkey will take on a slightly sour smell just before it goes really bad. That's what I check for.
