DiskWarrior 3.0.3
#1
So I can't find my DiskWarrior CD, all I have is the 3.0 version of the application on my HD, and I need the 3.0.3 update to run with 10.4 now.
Is there an updater that will just update the application without having to use the CD?
(I have the updater from Alsoft, but I it requires the original CD to make an updated CD)

Nope. And depending on what flavor of 3 you've got, it might not even work with your machine after the transformation. bfd's G5 refused to have anything to do with "do it yourself" upgrade, and apparently it's the machine and system version that makes a difference.

You can still get a 3.0.3.39 version for a much reduced price from Alsoft, less than $20. That'd give you a new CD guaranteed to boot up.

All you need is your SN - which if you don't have your CD might be hard to find. Alsoft has a phone number however, and they can probably look it up.

Like bfd wrote, you're gonna have to spring for the v3.0.3 Rev. 39 Update CD ROM from Alsoft. It's $19.95 including shipping, and will take about a week to get to you. The best way to get it is to call Alsoft's Tech Support/Customer Service telephone number. They can look up your serial number, if you don't have it, take your order right then and there.

You'll be all set once you get the update CD ROM in your hands. It works, and boots, any Mac made up to 10/19/2005, including the Dual Core G5s, except Intel Macs. I hear they're still working on the version for those models.
