Thanks, I'll give that a try.
I found a version of the video that will play via YouTube, but I'd like not to have to stream it.
Thanks again.

You can also install RealPlayer (free) on your machine. It's VERY handy for YouTube (though it also
doesn't discriminate, and doesn't know an ad from a video you want -- but that's not a big deal).
When you goto places like YouTube, the "RealPlayer Downloader" will open (or you can open it), and it
saves the streams --- and asks you by virtue of a list, if you want to save them. If you do, they are
stored in your User/Movies/RealPlayer/ folder -- and are there to re-encode with whatever or just move
as you wish, as .FLV files.
I use QT and Perian to play them, but I always keep flvThing handy, also "SWF & Flash Player" as well as
VLC .9.9.9a --- and between that, there is virtually nothing that can't be opened.
QT will let you resize them and re-encode them if you have QT Pro. VLC apparently adds, as does Perian,
a host of CODECS that other apps can use as well.

I was using the FireFox XT UsableTube for awhile.
Works pretty well.

When all else fails try MPEG Streamclip.
