GO UCLA BRUINS!

Winning ugly; but winning.

Even against a team choking up it took the powder blue boys an unbelievable number of trips to the free throw line to make that margin. I am getting sick of the refing in this tournament. With the way UCLA plays defense it was the Tigers who should have had this unbelievable differential. UCLA 39 attempts vs. Tigers 15, give me a break. Yesterday UConn went to the line 49 times!!

This is not a tournament it is an exhibition of biased refing. After the way Boston College and poor Greg Smith got jobbed by the refs there should have been arrests of the referees.

I am still trying to get over the fact the Washington Huskies went to the line 39 times vs. the Fighting Illini's 11. This is got to stop, it is a championship.

I've just come off coaching our local "March Madness" tournament for 10-11 year olds. Lest you sneer these were all star teams. The top ten (out of 100 players) from our program vs the top ten from all other programs - 120 programs - from all over LA.

We went 3 deep and now can watch the "big guys" and I'm posting because I got a chance to watch that BC game.

They gave up their season on a blown stack play. No way my guys let a player loose under the basket under those or any other circumstances. Whatever may have led up to that point, it was lack of fundamental basketball execution (stack defense) that cost BC that game.

RgF congrats on yours team!

That being said Greg Smith should have gone to the line at least 10 more times and he is a good free throw shooter. C'mon it's Boston vs. hated Philly!

One of the "Sports Reporters" on ESPN said for UConn to repeat they need those same 3 referees. 49 FTs! I'm not paranoid.
