Bought two 2.5" SATA WD 320GB drives from Dell. They both arrived today (same package.) The package was not damaged at all.
One of the drives works fine. The other one makes a lovely clicking noise when powered on.
Should I get Dell to fix this problem, or call WD and have it replaced under warranty? Pros/cons to each approach? Will one be faster or more responsive?

Still on hold with dell. 19:00 and counting. Have been transferred 4 times to different people. All of them speak english, although two of them spoke very, very, poorly. Dell customer support so far: F

Wow. Almost 50 minutes to speak to someone who is shipping me a replacement.

As long as there's already a Dell thread going-- I just received a mini 10v-- there is some play in the battery module, although it hasn't resulted in interrupted power. I noticed immediately, but I may just be used to "tighter" products. Does this sound normal?

Wife's vaio has a jiggly battery too. It a PC thing? I mean, you can only get plastic on plastic so tight, right?
