Scrolling / Mouse jerky, slow ....

I enabled smooth scrolling in Firefox preferences.

Also loading of ebay in firefox has become incredibly slow. All loading seems slow.

eMac and ATT basic DSL.

I wonder if att is slowing down their service.

Gecko's implementation of smooth scrolling in OS X sucks.

Turn it off and install this extension:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5846

It is CPU intensive, and the settings can be confusing, but it works well and does a good job of emulating the smooth scrolling of Safari.

If it's too much for your G4, disable it.
