FYI: GMAIL: Send mail from another address without "on behalf of"

This is very welcome news! Though, the email address you want to send from must have a server that can be used to send outbound messages.

your domain email address ->gmail -> your domain email server ->

Why not just:
your domain email address ->your domain email server ->

Or use google apps and run your email through there so it's just:
your domain email address on google apps ->google apps email server
