Print logs?
#1
I have an HP P3005dn laser printer and it works fine, but I want to clean out the print logs that date back over a year. Is there a file I can delete or a utility that will delete all the entries?

I've opened the console window from in the print/fax system prefs and see hundreds of old print jobs. I can select them, but not delete them (the delete icon is grayed out).

Help appreciated.

Never mind. Onyx can be used to clean out the "Cups" logs. Yeah!

I didn't know there were any logs. How do you even see them?

Save the logs and build a log cabin!

Dak, to see them, open your Printer/Fax in the System Prefs, select your printer in the list, then click on "Open Printer Queue". You won't see anything in the queue unless you Show/Hide completed jobs in the "Jobs" drop down menu.

I have to assume that the log takes up room on a hard drive, but I don't know how much. Onyx can delete the jobs. :-)
