8800GT graphic card died, 2008 Mac Pro. GT 120?
#1
As you can see, my nVidia 8800GT video card died last night (GRRRRR...), and at the moment, the GT120 seems to be the best replacement financially. Multiple reports say that this card works with the 2008 Mac Pro's (in the comments on Apple's product page below).

I am running a Dell Ultrasharp 22" LCD display. Can anyone tell me if this will work with this card? I am waiting for Apple to open (outside normal business hours currently...) to ask someone there, just wondering if anyone here knew off the top of their head.

Thanks!

If the card works in your mac then the monitor will work with the card.

You might do some poking around here:

A quick search found a couple of threads:

You can probably find better threads if you spend more time searching.

Check the card and see if it has any bulging caps. If so take it to an Apple store and see if they can help you out.
