hey, big spender...EXPEND a little time with me!.....'The Expendables' (action movie) trailer released....

.....for action fans...

New 'The Expendables' trailer is full of Stallone, Statham, Li, explosions

Sylvester Stallone knows what made action movies great in the '80s, and he's bringing that to the new decade in "The Expendables."

Check out the new trailer for "The Expendables": Sly and his team of mercs -- including Jason Statham, Jet Li and Terry Crews -- get a gig from Mickey Rourke to take on Eric Roberts and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Because it's an action movie, you know things don't go as planned. Soon enough, our antiheroes are caught up in a revolution on a tropical island. That means lots of stuff blows up real good. Don't miss what may be the catchphrase of next spring: "Bring it on, Happy Feet!"

"The Expendables" comes to theaters April 23, 2010.

ACTION...jackson...?

A lot of people here will hate this movie and won't see it.

Some will make excuses for succumbing to the box office. I'm just going.

One observation from the trailer- I thought Jet Li's english was better.

Trailers often show the best (and sometimes the only good) parts, but I'm hoping the chemistry between Stallone and Statham is good.

yeah, he did retire from hardcore martial arts fighting. I saw a Letterman episode where he talked about it. Dave asked him who General Tsao was, and why they named chicken after him. Jet was very amused BTW.

I can't tell if I'll like this. Depends how they spin it.
I will likely see it, if I have time.

Li has stated in an interview with the Shenzhen Daily newspaper that this will be his last martial arts epic, which is also stated in the film's television promotions. However, he plans to continue his film career in other genres. Specifically, he plans to continue acting in action and martial arts films; epic films deal more with religious and philosophical issues.

btw. i will definitely see it. Just the kind of senseless action movie i could watch again and again and again. It looks like Predator...you know...without the Predator. I saw shades of Jesse Ventura when Terry Crews lit up the guard tower with his impossibly large gun.
