Yeah I believe it's a 2008 MBP running 4 GB of memory, 200 Gigs of storage and 2.4 GHz.

This thing is solid... Can't wait to check out a unibody sooner or later. Question. do the lower left of your screen have a bright spot? Thinking of taking mine in to Apple to take a look.

I'd take that in if I were you. Given how video problems seem to plague these models, I'd be extra cautious. Applecare was purchased, naturally. Wink

Using TM (after a SD restore failed) I went back to 10.5.8 on my MBP. Too many (small) issues with 10.6.1 although I still have it on my MB which I use very seldom.
