Any Death Cab for Cutie Fans? Recommended Albums?

I bought their latest album (Narrow Stairs) at end of '08 and was expecting it to be good...but wow, I find myself listening to it sometimes 2-3x a week. Anyone have their other stuff? Is it this good? What are your favorite albums of theirs? I have some of their side project work — Postal Service — and it's also great stuff. A little more subdued but good.

Also liking a band called Owl City. Album is Ocean Eyes. Worth listening.

I have Plans and Transatlanticism and really like them both. "I Will Follow You into the Dark" from Plans is my favorite Death Cab tune. I agree with you about Postal Service. Heard good things about Owl City, I'll check their stuff out.

My favorite Death Cab CD is Transatlanticism, hands down. My favorite Death Cab song might be Little Bribes, from the Open Door EP.

One neat side project you might want to check out is "One Fast Move or I'm Gone", which is a collaboration between Ben Gibbard and Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo). Here is the iTunes link:
