why do the put the address of my ex-wife on MY credit file?
it's not a big deal, but each time I open a new account online I run into small problems because of these and I end up calling customer service to straighten the mess out.

because they are idiots.
I can't remove my ex-wife's name off my homeowner's insurance, even though she isn't on the title anymore, or on the mortgage.

They follow you where ever you go. I am getting mail at a house where she never lived.

My dad was divorced before moving into the home where he eventually died. 4 years after his death and 13 years after he moved to that address, the state sends tax bills there addressed to his ex-wife.
