Ever been there? I was in Budapest last fall for 2 weeks, and yeah, lots of caves in the region. Buda Castle is built on a hill that is riddled with an extensive limestone cave/catacomb system that was used as a bomb-proof hospital during WWII for example. People have been living inside that hill for over 2000 years. I have no trouble believing the story, because outside Budapest, its a whole different country.
