Someone dragged a barrell/bucket/leaky box of something to the fire pit, where the rest of it was dumped? He might want to be cautious about breathing the smoke that comes off whatever he burns next in the pit.

My yard looks like that when the sprinkler guy comes and blows out my system with an air compressor. The air coming out of the air compressor is hot, and the hose he uses heats/kills the grass it rests upon.
