I don't think you want to go there! I remember previous threads about the HOA. From what I remember about those, they're not an option.

Kook emailed me and neighbor that is on the board. Board member is well-meaning but a bit clueless herself (she lets trash pile up by her back door in the common hall). Logic would indicate that since a mouse is in kook's kitchen, kook might have a trash/food in his kitchen problem, and that that should be addressed first.

I emailed only her with a blurb about rodents/food/and trash attraction, without getting too specific on individual owners. The HOA here is beyond clueless, and I want as little dealings with them as possible. They have very little common sense, and seem to gravitate towards the most ridiculous solutions for problems, instead of the obvious solutions.

I have lived here since 1991 and never had a rodent/pest problem and never used chemicals in my house. I am not about to start with chemicals, now. The pest control guy can't get into my unit, unless I let him, and I will not. I have serious chemical issues, I can't tolerate their fabric chemicals that reach my unit. They can set up traps in the common basement and their own units. I think they ought to address their own cleanliness issues first.

It is amazing how some of these folks never empty their trash, except for about once every 10 days.

Then what do they expect?


These units are attached (6 total) and the basements under all 6 are really open to each other, including makeshift storage areas. We don't want to talk about condemning units yet.
