Forget Mad Men, Comedy Central is pulling The Daily Show and Colbert Report from Hulu.

(Not all of us have cable or sat, where these are often included in the basic package, so this news does hurt a bit.)

Aren't they streamed directly by comedy central? They both have plug ins for plex, and run just fine that way. Hulu has turned into a bugfest for the most part, at least through plex.

Viacom concerned about monetizing shows that have commercial sponsors.

Last time I compared, the picture quality was lower and commercial quotient higher.

The comedy central stream is now in high definition, so should be much nicer than Hulu. That was at least my experience a month or so ago when I tried them both, after they went HD. Plex often strips ads or doesn't play them, so I don't notice the ads really at all.

I'm seeing an image only about 430px high and 768px wide, not "HD" (motion is still very blocky, too) but it does look bigger and better than it used to. Forget I said anything!
