Here is info on the CLIFF they would have fallen off of had they not been stopped by the concrete. (Or if they just did their f'n jobs!)

I've never heard of this before, but it makes sense.

It's just like those crushable barriers you see on highways.

So the important thing is...was this Corvette cool enough to warrant destroying a jetliner and endangering the lives of many people. We haven't gotten the final answer on that yet.
