anyone have a Nokia E63? and syncing Symbian with OS X and WXP
#1
I need a new smartphone and the Amazon deal on the E63 is attractive ($150). However, I need to sync this with a Win XP box and secondly, a Mac. I care less about syncing with a Mac, as I can manually add the small number of appointments manually to the phone but it would be nice.

Does 1. anyone have an E63 and what do you think of it and 2. how can I accomplish the above ?

1. I have one, it's a nice little phone. Great keyboard. I just wish Nokia hadn't removed the GPS to make it a low end phone, because, IMHO, it has a better "feel" than the E71 or E72.

2. What exactly do you want synced? The Ovi Suite software for Windows can handle a lot.

I need to sync with Outlook on an XP box and I would like to transfer that calendar to Google, with additional input on a Mac. Again, I care less about the second part of this but I do want to sync with Outlook without too much hassle (I hate WinMo and the dance I have to do with Active Sync)

Well, if you are interested in syncing email and PIM data with an Exchange server, the E63 will do that nicely. It may not have the prettiest client around, but it gets the job done.
