Indesign CS5 page numbering question

I have a document set up with auto numbering on the master pages. No problemo. I have also generated a Table of Contents based on styles throughout the document. Again. No problemo. The problem arises when I want to include the cover with the doc so it all prints together on our printer. When i do this, all my pages increase by 1. Can Indesign "ignore" the first page for auto numbering purposes?

You need to make a new section and tell ID where to start the page numbering, page 2 would be the start of the second section and would begin at 1. I don't have CS5, but the dialog should be somewhere in the Pages flyout menu.
