No. Stimulus was Exhibit A that central planning does not work. C4C, as misguided as it was, proved money in the pocket of people is the way to go. Obama is begging for the stimulus money to be spent, yet C4C funds ran out in a matter of days. I always have a "shover-ready" project if I see more money in my paycheck. Don't you?
The fact that you don't understand the difference between central planning to spend money and individuals spending money is a testament to the utter failure of economic education in this country.
