Since we're on the Political side:
I agree that "Nixon" was an excellent movie. If you have any interest whatsoever in the history of the Vietnam War, "The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara" is a must-see. Directed by Errol Morris. "The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers." This was on PBS last week and it's available from Netflix. I wasn't able to watch the whole thing but what I saw was excellent. "Wag the Dog" was very good. Maybe it'll seem tame by now!

and speaking of Afghanistan "Charlie Wilson's War" was really good.

The Bourne Ultimatum. Not bad for coming out of Hollywood.

I just recently watched "To Kill a Mockingbird" again after not seeing it for quite some time. Reminded me why it is one of my all-time favorite movies.
