The Event - Ouch. (Spoilers)
#1
Camel's back meet last straw. Last straw, meet camel's back.

*snap*

Tell me they didn't just introduce their own fantastically bad version of Rousseau from Lost?

Crazy, gun wielding lady appears out of nowhere bearing details about The Mystery. Babbling about shadowy, powerful 'others'.

The Event writers, I watched Lost, I knew Lost, Lost was a friend of mine. The Event writers, your show's no Jack Kenn... er, no Lost.

I'm afraid I've officially given up on The Event. I'll still watch though, my best friend is enjoying it and likes to talk about the episodes, so I can spare an hour out of my life watching to accommodate them. And there is a watching a slow motion train wreck fascination to continuing to watch at least.

There's still lots to watch on TV, even with Mad Men and Rubicon having come to the end of their seasons [sob]. Fringe, Detroit 1-8-7, House, Good Guys (Best cop comedy since Bakersfiled P.D.). That new Sherlock Holmes on PBS looks good (I still have that on the DVR, but haven't watched yet).

.....i stopped watching "The Event' about 2 weeks ago when they had the episode with the fake escape.....they are copying elements (not even trying to hide this - practically 'word for word') from 'Lost' and '24' and it isn't working.....so it is off my list.....

I watch THE EVENT religiously! It helps put me to sleep when I am restless at night!

(SERIOUSLY: I punched out already on that show. There are absolutely no characters developed that I have one ounce of interest in. It is the program V repackaged: Aliens among us for some time, we can not tell them apart by just looking at them, they been watching us for some time, they have an agenda that seems not to be friendly, however some our sympathetic... la la la la la)

A relative called while I was watching so I kind of missed how she was involved. I will give them a pass for this week just because the building collapse was really cool.

I just plain don't like Laura Innes.

That's all the reason I need not to watch.

Never watched LOST; well, except for first two crappy episodes.

The Event is interesting. Gotta see where it's going.

why do I have the feeling that Nick Wauters & crew found a crate of
Chris Carter's discarded material in a back-lot dumpster?

...and in which episode will agents Scully & Mulder do a cameo?

PBS is so much better this season: Sherlock, Wallander,
and of course, Nature!
