....ABC has given full-season orders to two if its new shows, "No Ordinary Family" and "Better With You" and extended the runs of another newbie, "Detroit 1-8-7," and veteran "Brothers & Sisters."
The network is the last of the broadcast nets to pull the trigger on full seasons for any of its new shows. "NOF" and "Better With You" will each run for 22 episodes, while "Detroit" got five extra episodes to bring its total to 18.
"Brothers & Sisters," meanwhile, earned four extra hours. ABC initially ordered only 18 for the season, but the additional order brings it to a standard 22.
"No Ordinary Family" is the most-watched of ABC's first-year series. The drama about a family (Michael Chiklis, Julie Benz, Kay Panabaker and Jimmy Bennett) who develop superpowers is averaging just over 9 million viewers per week and a 2.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.
"Better With You" draws about 7.2 million viewers per week and has done a pretty decent job at holding the audience of its lead-in, "The Middle." It retains better than 80 percent of "The Middle's" audience in both total viewers and the 18-49 demo.
"Detroit 1-8-7" averages 8.8 million viewers a week, and "Brothers & Sisters" has started its fifth season by averaging about 9.6 million people on Sunday nights......
