Heck, I still see PS2 mice and parallel cables in stores occasionally.

I'm seeing PS2 connectors on the LATEST 2011 motherboards that have both USB2 and USB 3 on the board!
They also have FW and are using the Sandy Feet chipset for Gen 2 of the i3/i5/i7 (socket 1156).
I was noticing that the motherboards for Sandy Bridge has PS/2 ports. WTF?
I still get a kick out of VGA ports -- on both desktops/laptops and monitors. $1700 Dell still has one.

Apple went to DVI on the Powerbook 667 DVI -- which I think was mid-2002?

Sadly, I wish that Apple had that same sort of "forward" thinking with USB3, HDMI, SD card readers, bluray and eSATA.

Apple will be getting Sandy Bridge with the v2 of the i3/i5/i7, so that may move up the timetable, since
Intel apparently got it together and on this controller.

Yeah, I saw that, myself when the 1155 boards were previewed before CES. PS2 squeezed between the eSATA and USB3 ports.

'Forgot about that.

Maybe I'm thinking 1155. I don't have the page in front of me anymore, and I'm reading conflicting info
about whether 55s can use the 56 socket since the extra pin is worthless....
