Just looked into what my busted 50mm 1.4 might be worth and while I am encourage that people are overpaying, I can't fathom why they are. People are paying 400-425 for a used lens while a new shipped w/wty lens is $435. What is going on?

I was pricing out a Hauppauge DVR yesterday, and people are consistently paying more on eBay for it than they could at Amazon. Go figure.
