I stopped in the Apple store and tried one of the 15" MBPs (the 1.8, I think).
Anyway, all I can say is...that thing is peppy.
Rememebr when we used to count bounces back in the 10.0 days? 17 bounces for Explorer, etc. Well, Safari started BEFORE the first bounce completed.
I know that's a stupid benchmark, but all the Finder functions and iApps felt like that. Just wow. I hate to say it, but the speed felt like a PC. On my PC, I click Word, and a half second later, it is ready. The MBP felt like that. I clicked iTunes, and BAM, it was up.
