I'll bet Amazon will have a rebate of some sort on them, and no tax and free shipping. Your campus bookstore might have a special deal, too.

I recently got a new 15" PB (special deal from campus store, matter of fact!), so I probably won't get one, although I will eye this new iBook. I am really interested to see if they change the form factor.

And yeah, Amazon will make it worth a visit. MacConnection has also been getting into the rebate game.

I may go for a refurb 12in. G4 iBook if I think it's not worth it. But I'd really like to WOW my classmates by running Windows on a Mac!!!! That alone is worth $1000.
