Well, I think tulips are a big feature of most large dutch cities in springtime, but it looks like you'll hit the tail end of the blooming season.
Tulip season will be over but they do grow other things, even in the big fields out near the windmills. :-)
I've done the Aalsmeer flower auction in the past with a buyer. Once was enough. Flora Holland. Fun, but I would rather do the more touristy things. Course, I'm traveling with retired former Boeing employees who lived in Amsterdam for years who will be 'showing me Amsterdam' ( no coffeeshops / brothels ), so I may not get to see the top ten touristy things again. :-)
Can't you, on your own, follow the red lights and find your way to paradise?
