New Forum "style" . . .
#11
I thought my Dual Core G5 had blown up or something! I hope they get things fixed by tomorrow...no Reply box? Huh? And I can't quote a message?

Hmmmmm,...maybe they will get this sorted out soon. Hope the software is easy to repair!

Yes, as others have said, not having the reply box at the bottom of a thread is pointless. Also, the "tips and deals" link at the top of every thread doesn't do anything, but the one at the bottom does? This was how I got back to the forum (instead of back button and refresh), as well as page one if I was several pages deep. Oh, and I hate courier. We're not on typewriters anymore here. And what's this rumor about no more emoticons? Smile

All in all, lots of good stuff. Only four little things to pick on.

Do you guys read any of the other threads?
The OWC Jim somehow decided the reply box thing was a complex problem, and promised it would be fixed.
I don't understand why everyone assumes these are all intentional changes.
I do think it's odd that the admin didn't leave some sort of note . . .

OK, apparently tweaks continued into the night because "reply via PM" is gone.

Right, they need to have the reply back at the bottom... we don't need nary extra steps.

They need to have the Reply box on the same...

Oh, wait. That's been mentioned once or twice.

I'd like to see the Replies indented a space or two from the parent or original post.

I'm happy with this upgrade so far, and am ecstatic to see the Stickies gone.

Memo to 'chip:

"Alot" isn't one word, it's two. "Allot" is a word, but it's not what you mean in your sig.

My 7th grade English teacher wrote this on the blackboard, and it stuck with me:

A LOT

I never ran them together after that.

The reply via pm is a new feature but I removed it as noone seemed to want this.
