Rusty cars that could be worth millions
For car buffs, it's an almost mythical concept. But, unlike Big Foot and Mermaids, barn finds really do exist."""t seems too good to be true. A car that was abandoned and forgotten in a garage for decades is discovered -- and it's worth a mint!

"""Case in point: This supercharged Bugatti was parked in a garage by its then-owner in the early 1960s and, for some reason, simply left there for half a century."""

It really bothers me when you say that the early 60s were half a century ago!

Yeah, that can't be right, 'cause I haven't gotten much more mature since then...

I'm gonna check the math.

And, while I'm at it, figure out how much my old Bimmer from back then would've been worth now...

"Before the addition of the blown 485, the Chevrolet was pumping out in the neighborhood of 650 rear-wheel-horsepower and tripping the lights in around 11 seconds through the quarter mile."

That's kinda sad performance for modern technology. There is a Buick Stage 2 factory drag car that back in '93 was putting out 650 horses with a carb, iron heads, a iron 2 bolt main block, and doing 10.3s. Weighed a few hundred pounds more too, I'll bet. I helped put the drivetrain in it for its debut at the GS Nationals.

Sounds like the Camaro guys don't know how to tune a suspension.

yeah, but they measure HP at the rear wheels now, not the crankcase. if you look at the hyped out old iron, they have to be blown to bits in order to get the same results - this car can be driven on the street. with air conditioning, I bet.
