I think a career change is in order for me

That or stay the ^%$# off the Craigslist "gigs" board, which occasionally has gotten me good work, but mostly brings out the bottom feeders:

I have purchased 22 domains and need to build websites. I also need a personal assistant to help me clean the house. I can train, but the more comfortable you are with writing and working on a computer the better.

I need help 3 days a week for 3 hours each day at 10.00 per hour. You set your own schedule. I live a block from san rafael high school.

WOW. Yeah, lots of bottom feeders. But I do have to tell you a CL success story...

I contacted one guy, ended up working with him. Later he told me about a local email list. I got connected with them. One guy from the list noticed who I was (based on a client I had.) Sent me a fairly good sized gig (five figures.) Plus the guy has turned out to be a really good vendor that one of my clients now uses very frequently.

So while the CL gig might not be all that great, it can lead to better things.

And while you're down there, see if you can kinda take of that rat problem we've been having... thanks.

I don't think your ad is that bad, Seacrest. You might consider removing the exact pay amount-- for all you know there's someone out there willing to do it cheaper.

Maybe, but my other requirements—which I neglected to list—might make it harder for me to find that "special" someone.

Code it up then Smile I'm sure there are some "special" folks out there who would understand.

I've been in your shoes...

You need to structure your add differently so that it is clear. Leave out the numbers. No one cares about how many sites you've bought and things like that.

Don't offer any rate...many would work for less.
