Getting FIOS installed between 1 PM and 5 PM. Wait. Is that the doorbell?

While that is great on one level, what if you were going to go out and planned to be back just before 1PM? I like it when people show up when they say they will, not super early or late, just on time.

.......whenever they say they will there from ** to **.....I wait until the 2nd ** and either they don't show up or they are late.....never had them come early EVER.....so lucky you......

Time Warner doesn't even ring the damn bell. They just say "Customer was not there" and walk away laughing. Once I even saw the guy just drive by the house, stop, type something into his terminal, and drive away. And when I angrily called dispatch, they said "He noted that you did not answer repeated doorbells and knocking for three minutes."

Never saw that guy in a Time Warner truck after that, so the brief diatribe had the desired effect.
