Thanks, I'm downloading now. I've watched the show, it's pretty good fun, he always manages to eat the nuts of some animal, however. I'm not saying that's a bad thing.

yeah bugs and entrails, slimy and burnt, anything goes. very appealing host. lots of culture to see.

Handy rule of thumb; Any episode from anywhere in Asia will have the "grossest" foods.
There's gross to be had in other places too, and some Asian cuisine isn't that "gross".

I like the show, and the host always comes across as a genuinely nice guy, and almost ALWAYS has something nice to say, no matter what he's eating.

Only episode I absolutely couldn't handle was when they were collecting and cooking live tarantula's in southeast asia.

He was in the deep south one episode, and he ate fresh pig bung hole. He was chewing on that thing for quite a while. He said it needed to be cleaned longer.

Durian has beat him 3 for 3 though. Only food to beat him more than once.
