True, but I was blue skying for ideas of "completely different product" for Apple to sell. The Kinect which apparently was offered to Apple before Microsoft, might be in the same area. Personally, I am so jazzed about the Inkling and just hope that it works as well in practice as the pr hype.

I get it, but I just don't think Apple is really into radically different. Everything they've done, including the iPod and iPhone still centered around an existing business model (iPod as digital media accessory to the Mac and the iPhone as extension of the new focus on the iPod/iTunes ecosystem).

Even Microsoft purchasing the Kinect project made sense for them and not Apple. The Kinect was a great way to get into the "motion" video game market.

Apple seems more interested in constant iterative improvement than constant revolution. I'm truly curious what "absolutely different" product Apple could be cooking up. New iTransit personal transportation pod?
