25 Worst Tech Products of All Time
#11
The days of OS 8.1-9.1 were also pretty miserable for me, as I remember my Mac freezing up more than water pipes during an Alaskan winter.

I never had problem with RealPlayer (version 10 I think) on my PB running 10.3.9. I like it better than WMP that really does the BUFFERING... thing a lot and crashes on me all the time. Even PC version cannot play 60% of the file formats available.

Zip drive was a big hit back in the days so it shouldn't be on this list in my opinion.

I had three -- no -- four Zip drives, two of which got croaked by COD. I lost 10 or 15 100M carts as well, and they weren't that cheap. I do remember what came before, and after, and the Zip well deserves to be on the list.

The 6200 series Performa Macs rank pretty high on my worst Tech list. I actually
bought one. When LEM classified it as Road Apple they weren't kidding.

and #7, Microsoft Bob, was brought to you courtesy of, yes, Bill gate's wife Melinda.

Goes to show you, you can be a crappy worker, with a crappy project, with crappy results, and end up owning the company anyway.

Word 6.0 was stone slow. The PPC update helped a lot though.

I used Zip disks all the time, great product in my opinion. COD wasn't a problem for everyone, and it made a standing as BTO equipment in Apple Computers, that's gotta stand for something!

I wouldn't say the Pippin was really a product, I mean was it ever actually released?
