I think the low end tablet makers were decimated by HP's fire sale.

When iPads and Touchpads were $600, a tablet for $200, even cheaply made, was deal.

With Touchpad sales still popping up, I can't imagine anyone with half a brain buying these POS.

But the specs and the Engrish still amuse.....

Well... my wife seems to be pretty happy with her touchpad. I did some of the speed tweaks (no overclocking) and it's much snappier. For $127 for the 32GB model, it's one of the best tech purchases I've made in a while.

I've got one Touchpad coming for my mom and if HP SMB ever ships, I've got one for myself.

It will be no iPad, but for 3/5 of the price one, I got two decent tablets with probably the most iOS like interface.

Looking forward to playing with it when I get it.

I've been doing a fair amount of android dev and i'm not sure i'd want to buy a tablet that doesn't run the latest rev. of android. (or, for that matter, run the newest rev of android) even the latest rev isn't terribly smooth, but much better than the early versions.

geez, they don't even list the processor used.

Which is understandable, as it is a Rockchip RK2818 600MHz. It's processing
power is somewhere between that of a lump of dry playdoh and a dollar store
calculator.
