OT: I have a better understanding of our genetic relationship with Neanderthals

After seeing one in the grocery store. A photo would have been rude, but he had am impressive forehead overhanging sunken eyes, heavy chin, and body hair.. OMG a whole Yankee Candle store worth of wax would be required body hair.

Wow. I haven't seen a specimen like that since the Museum of Natural History.

By an odd coincidence, going on about the guy on a message board is also rude.

By an odder coincidence, going on about the guy on a message board without a picture to post is even ruder.

(is ruder a word? maybe I'm part neanderthal too)

One of our friend's exhusband fits the profile. Even she admitted so.

I had a middle school student once who I was sure could trace direct lineage all the way back. Not just looks either. She moved like (I imagine) a neanderthal would, and she was quite slow in several ways.
