Sold my 10.5 a couple weeks ago for $172!! Craziness! I wish I had 10 more of them. Reminds me of when the isights were selling at a premium.

I'be been using eBay quite a bit lately to sell and buy. The double-whammy of eBay fees and PayPal fees is pretty annoying; really starts to hurt on auctions selling in the $ hundreds, especially on the PayPal side. I have nothing to complain about as far as service, though. Been getting and paying decent prices (but I'm not buying or selling Leopard!). I just use eBay's listing website.

Why are Leopard disks going for so much?

Leopard is the last OS supported on PPC hardware. Be nice if Apple would still retail it or at least release the PPC version as unsupported freeware, if for no other reason than that it's clearly in high demand. But that's never been Apple's style.
