iTunes not recognizing iPhone ?
#1
My happy little iPhone 4s is refusing to be recognized by my aging Macbook 1,1 running Snow Leopard (latest sub version, latest iTunes, etc..). Oh, iPhoto sees it just fine, and happily sucks down photos from it. But iTunes does not want.

I've followed Apple's recommendations.. resets, reboots, update checks, etc. Nada.

Anyone else have this symptom ?

I DO, however, suspect there's something wonky with the Macbook's Hard Drive... I ended up with boot beachball of doom and had to reinstall OSX to get it back up, and every time I go and check permissions it finds some that are in need of repair.

Is there a cache file I can flush somewhere that may help ?

Is this happening with the Wired or wireless connection?
