There are several issues with that. First its a Mac. Second, to the best of my knowledge, Microsoft has never produced a "Microsoft" branded computer. So even if it wasn't a Mac in the picture, it wouldn't be a 'Microsoft' computer either.

oh yeah, you've never heard of Microsoft the hardware company?

OMG.. poor girl. I remember Microsoft Multiplan. They replaced it with Excel about 30 seconds after that photo was taken.
Seriously lazy-butt captioner.

My two most important interface tools are from Apple's major competitors... Dell U3011 for visuals, and an aging M$ Trackball Explorer for navigation and input w/ the Mac Pro. Point being, Apple/Mac has long relied on others to complete the overall computing experience. Now, w/ the evolution to iOS everything, the mothership seems to have found a way to reel in control over more of the overall computing experience. The late 70's thru the mid 90's were the revolution, and it's been evolution ever since. Captioning errors aside, the photo piece was a nice slice from the revolution.

I seem to remember that the Drexel Macs had a big D logo silkscreened on the front. But then if this had been a real photo at Drexel, the writer probably would have called it a Dell.

I had several friends who went to Drexel. I don't recall a "D" logo on their computers. At my first "real" job after graduating, they had an intern from Drexel. The interns were assigned to a project, and at the end of their internship, they had to give a presentation. He did it all on his Mac Plus. The engineers were so impressed, they bought 6 Mac II's for the department. I was lucky enough to get one.
