Last night was miserable. I have the kind of cough that can't be avoided and makes your head hurt every time. I have fever and chills and even the sheets hurt. I have taken vitamin C and drank water. I just took 2 x 500 Tylenol and 20 mg of c0deine and some benadryl. Any other things to do before I turn in?

I'm sharing your pain.

I had ankle surgery three weeks ago and every night is miserable. I wake up every hour in pain and have to wait to take any more meds (and then for them to kick in). Doc gave me a sleep aid, but if I don't wake up and move occasionally I wake with a purple swollen foot.

Only nine more weeks to go...

If you hadn't taken the Tylenol I would have recommended a hot toddy, heavy on the toddy.

If you hadn't taken the Benadryl, I would have recommended this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000703/ ... I buy the generic 25mg tablets, and find that HALF a tablet is enough to put me out within about 30 minutes...

Just saw this this morning. I hope you got at least some sleep last night, and I hope you feel better soon.
